    The TOEFL test is an English language proficiency exam that measures the ability of non-native English speakers to use and understand the English language as it is heard, spoken, read, and written in the university or college context.

    TOEFL scores are accepted by more than 11,000 universities and other institutions in over 150 countries, including the United States, Canada, the UK, Australia, and New Zealand.

    The TOEFL test has four sections: Reading, Listening, Speaking, and Writing. The test takes about 4 hours to complete and is administered via the internet at designated testing sites.

    The TOEFL test is scored on a scale of 0 to 120. Each section is worth a maximum of 30 points, and the total score is the sum of the scores of the four sections.

    You can take the TOEFL test as many times as you wish, but you cannot take it more than once in a 12-day period. There must also be at least 3 days between each testing date.

    TOEFL scores are valid for two years after the test date.

    A good TOEFL score depends on the requirements of the institution you are applying to. Generally, a score of 90 or above is considered competitive for most universities.

    You can prepare for the TOEFL test by using official preparation materials, taking practice tests, and improving your English language skills through reading, listening, writing, and speaking in English as much as possible.

    No, you are not allowed to use a dictionary during the TOEFL test. However, you can take notes on the provided scratch paper.
